Förgätmigej/Forget-me-not - A New Musical (Oskarshamn, 2009)

When Ruby and Hubert each turned five, they didn't match at all. They didn’t talk. And after that, they just fought. But when Ruby bought Hubert a piano to make up for knocking all his teeth out, something happened. Forget-me-not is a love story that lasts through a lifetime – and beyond. The narrator is Hugh himself, as an old man telling his children and grandchildren about his life with Ruby; the honeymoon on the Moon, bankrobbery and dragons, when Ruby ran away with a circus and their last journey together before Ruby died – to the Rainbow. The kids are excited but their parents are worried about Hubert’s health. How much of what he’s telling them is really true? Are they losing their father?

With Lovewell Sweden’s largest group of participants ever, 32 students, this show, that made the audience laugh and cry, was written. There was pictures on a big screen, smoke and fire. But most of all, there was love.
